Christina believes in the healing power of yoga to her core- body, mind, and spirit. And it is from this place of healing and gratitude where she teaches from today. In late 2016 Christina’s health began to unexpectedly decline without a simple explanation as to why. Her strong vinyasa practice was no longer sustainable- and she was limited to stretching, restorative yoga, and meditation. She felt physically weaker as she was searching for what was contributing to her health decline. Despite this shift, teaching was one of the most anchoring and uplifting things that helped her gain strength back. She began to practice again- slowly building the stamina and strength to get to an even healthier place than ever before. But this experience gave her the wisdom to never take her health for granted. She cherishes her students and opens her heart to share what yoga has taught her. Christina became a certified yoga instructor through the Mukti School of Yoga, completing her 200-RYT certification in the spring of 2013 and 500-RYT in the summer of 2015. Her teaching experience includes advanced vinyasa, prenatal, chakra, yin, restorative and meditation. Christina wishes for all students to experience the healing transformation that can take place on the mat through the sacred practice of yoga.
