Self-Care & Healing Sessions: Self-care & healing sessions blend the two practices of Reiki Jin Kei Do (the path of compassion and wisdom) and Yoga Therapy to bring comprehensive self-care to support your wellness journey beyond the session. Each session is customized for individuals to receive the healing of Reiki (see below) with essential oils* and using yoga therapy (see below) to create a personal yoga lifestyle plan and realistic goals towards a vital and active life. This session will provide you with a support structure and different practices to empower you to become a student of your own health and boost overall well-being during various cycles of life. Therapeutic grade A essential oils are optional based on the client’s preference. Together with yoga therapy practices (may include mindfulness movement, self-inquiry, breathing, sound healing, and yoga philosophy), this specialized session brings the healing into daily living and practical tools to help achieve the harmony of the mind, the body and the spirit into all aspects of our lives.
Reiki: Reiki means universal life force energy and is a Japanese hands-on healing modality that can decrease stress, mitigate pain, bring clarity in challenging times, and promote healing – bringing balance to one’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Reiki is a complementary therapy that is safe for any condition. Sessions are gentle, non-invasive, and are typically given on a massage table where the recipient remains fully clothed. The Reiki practitioner serves as a conduit for the healing energy, which flows from the universe through the practitioner’s hands, and to the recipient’s body, mind, spirit where healing is most needed. Enhancing energy flow and removing blockages in the physical and subtle layers for physical well-being and promotes spiritual clarity to see the essence of our true selves.
Comprehensive Yoga Therapy: Comprehensive Yoga Therapy provides personalized holistic practices and lifestyle coaching to improve quality of life and support your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. CYT is a supplemental healing modality for a variety of health challenges that takes the stress-reducing benefits of a weekly yoga class to another level. Clients will examine all lifestyle factors that contribute to their conditions and are empowered to become students of their own health in a safe and guided environment. Clients may not be able to be “cured” in some cases, but they can minimize the degree of mental, emotional, and physical suffering associated with their health challenges.

What to expect: Students learn positive approaches and a variety of tools for a personalized practice that meet their individual needs. The initial sessions will be information gathering and intention setting to build rapport and have a direction for growth. It is important to know that the approach is custom-fit to the client. Typically 5-8 sessions constitute the beginning program; with sessions scheduled at one to two-week intervals at the onset and then tailored to individual needs and scheduling considerations.

All first-time sessions are 90 min and include a comprehensive intake process and session.

Christine Tran is a certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher (500 RYT), and Yoga Teacher Trainer (E-RYT 200) from Los Angeles and recently moved back from Washington, D.C. She specializes in gentle and adaptive yoga, energy healing, and mindfulness practices to support self-care and transform stress into balanced health. Christine offers an inviting, nurturing, and calming space for students to rediscover the natural healing powers of the body and elements in nature, while deepening the mind, body, and spirit connection. She makes holistic living accessible in our fast-paced society and guides individuals on how to integrate wellness into everyday life. Her wellness journey started with injuries from running. At first, yoga was too slow and quiet for her, but she soon realized that the discomfort came from not taking breaks in her own fast-paced and stress-filled lifestyle. The slow and steady pace of the practice gave space for awareness and connection to our true essence – that’s yoga!
