Lindsey Valdez

A lifelong athlete, dancer, and lover of the outdoors, Lindsey found a strong attraction to Yoga. After graduating from the SDSU Hospitality program class of 2007, Lindsey moved to New York City to pursue a career with W Hotels. It was in those high-intensity New York years that the yoga practice served as her equalizer to help her find balance amidst hectic city life. Lindsey’s passion for travel and Yoga led her to India to dive deeper into the teachings and awakened her desire to teach and share Yoga with others. Lindsey made the transition from her decade long hospitality career to become a full-time yoga and Meditation instructor in 2012. She has taught at some of the most elite studios in NYC, such as; Pure Yoga, Yoga Vida, Equinox Sports Clubs, as well as to corporations such as; AOL, Huffington Post, Starwood Hotel Group, and more.

Lindsey recently moved back to California from NYC last year to be closer to family, to nature, and to spread her teachings on the West Coast! Lindsey loves linking movement with music and believes in the power of sound therapy which she incorporates in all of her yoga flows! Her classes seek to target the the inner strength, grace, and harmonious spirit within all of her students!

“Yoga not only stretches, but also strengthens and cleanses our bodies; it stretches, strengthens, and cleanses our minds and our spirits! Yoga is for EVERYONE, and my unique flow sessions aim to take you on a whole new journey of JOY from the inside out!” -Lindsey Valdez-

Hannah Stahulak

Hannah grew up in Chicago, moved out west to San Francisco six years ago, and has now spent the last two years in the Los Angeles/South Bay area. Hannah found yoga initially to ‘work out’ and balance her busy graduate school schedule, but it quickly became a much deeper practice. She became so convinced of its magic that she pursued her 200 hr yoga certification at Laughing Lotus Yoga Center on top of her master’s degree! Yoga is many things to Hannah, but most importantly, it’s a way to navigate gracefully through life. Yoga offers you tools such as bodily understanding and acceptance, control of mind, and a much more in-depth perspective on how to live a fulfilling and happy life. Hannah classes will offer you an authentic yogic experience through fun asanas, breathwork, meditation, and readings. Aside from yoga Hannah has her Master of Fine Arts from the San Francisco Art Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Art Education. She teaches children’s drawing and painting classes on top of her yoga teaching schedule.

Jessica Risco

Jessica discovered yoga in 2005 while teaching English in Morocco. Three women gathered twice a week to learn the Ashtanga Primary Series literally from the ground up. After graduating for the University of Arizona with a Masters degree in Public Health, her relationship with the practice began to deepen to incorporate the mind and body for a greater sense of health and well-being. A recent transplant to Los Anglese from Oakland, she has been teaching yoga since 2015 and completed her 200-hr training in December of 2018 from Yoga Tree/YogaWorks in San Francisco. Jessica believes that yoga is for everybody and all bodies.

Sarah Beston

Sarah discovered yoga when she moved from Boston to the West Coast more than 13 years ago. After years of competitive gymnastics and dance, yoga felt like a natural physical progression. What she hadn’t anticipated was the rad journey her physical practice would present beyond the body and into the realm of mind and spirit. Like any great love, yoga challenges her. As a life-long student, yoga continues to be a medium for lessons about personal power, grace and freedom from self-doubt, judgment, insecurity, and fear.

In her yoga classes, Sarah promotes a welcoming and safe environment that realigns her students with the natural gifts already within them— vitality, strength, joy, and intuitive intelligence. She brings her love of dance and choreography to creative vinyasa flow sequences that, through refined attention to breath, physical strength, and mindful movement, connect her students with the expansive freedom and potential of the body-mind. She believes a consistent practice offers the practitioner a pathway to his or her own divine, radiant nature.

Sarah received her yoga teacher training certification (Yoga Alliance RYT 200-hour) through Yoga Mittra, under the guidance of Shelley Williams, Genevieve Pujalet, and Suzy Nece. She considers the lovely Kira Ryder one of her biggest mentors and role models.

She resides in Manhattan Beach, California with her husband Travis and dog Sadie.
